Prague is one of the few European capitals where the city centre has not been modernized much. Medieval architecture remained on both sides of the Vltava river. Prague wasn't damaged during World War II. Prague is charming, amazing, cosy and breathtaking. Within our 7 hour tour we will show you the main districts of Prague city centre.

The Castle District: We will take you to Strahov monastery which is located on top of Strahov hill and offers one of the most beautiful views of the city.You will see monumental palaces and Loreta shrine in front of Prague Castle.

Prague Castle: With its area of 7,28ha, Prague Castle is the largest castle in the world. This symbol of Czechia was the residence of Czech princes, kings, twice it was a residence of the Roman emperors of the New Holy Roman Empire, nowadays Prague Castle is the seat of the Czech president. Prague Castle is more a town than a castle, you will visit the main objects of the Castle: St.Vitus Cathedral-the coronation place of Bohemian kings, The Old Royal Palace, Basilica of St.George, which dates back to the 10th century and the fairy tale looking Golden Lane, once a street of the poor.

Jewish Quarter: Jewish Museum has one of the largest collections of judaica in the world. The museum was founded in 1906 with the aim to document the history of Jewish Communities of Bohemia and Moravia and to preserve the precious objects from the synagogues, which were demolished during the renovation of the former Jewish Ghetto. You will see the operating temple The Old New Synagogue, built in 1270, you will stroll through the Old Jewish Cemetery, you will visit the Holocaust Memorial in Pinkas Synagogue, you will admire the architectural details of the Spanish synagogue built in moorish style in 1867.

The Lesser Town: In the Lesser Town you will feel like being in the 18th century, we will show you St.Nicholas Church, the most beautiful baroque church to the north of the Alps. Narrow streets, houses with arcades, the palaces of the nobility, beautiful gardens…

We will cross Charles Bridge with the open air statue gallery of the Old Masters. Standing on the bridge, you will feel the harmony of the whole city centre complex.

The Old Town: We will visit the Old Town Square with the famous Astronomical Clock, we will see the Municipal House, The original building of Charles University, the oldest university in central and eastern Europe , we will also see one of the monumental city gates, Powder Tower.

The New Town: Prague New Town is relatively new, this district was founded by the Emperor Charles IV in the 14th century and at the time, Prague was the third largest european city after Constantinople and Rome. We will see Wenceslas Square, the witness of the history of the 20th century, the National Theatre, the National Museum and we will show you also the architecture and the art of the 21st century. We will take you to Vysehrad – the Upper Castle, we will see here the ruins of the castle built in the 10-12 century, Vysehrad was the residence of the first Czech king Vratislav, you will hear local legends about the Czech nation.
